Not sure what to say?

Dear Darren, our sincere condolences on Diane´s death. We are so shocked to learn this tragic news. We both got to know Diane in Germany and that friendship continued in Canada. We hosted her at our home in Victoria a few years ago when she was in town for a conference. We were just talking about you folks and I thought I´d see if I could find you on google. If you like, you can reach us at [email protected] Jeannine and Doug Friesen

Diane was my assigned mentor when I was training at CAMH. I was impressed by her confidence and skill in treating some of the most severely ill patients. She gave a captivating rounds about her experience serving in the Persian gulf war, and I still remember parts of it. I´m sorry to hear of her passing and send my sincere condolences to her family. Her impact on the people of Thunder Bay was amazing - she helped a lot of people and her no nonsense attitude was awesome! We spoke honestly about it often as I loved her approach! You are in my thoughts.

News of Dr. Whitney's passing came as a great shock, and I wish to convey my most profound condolences to her loving husband Darren and to Dr. Whitney's family and friends. As a former patient, my most lasting impressions of Dr. Whitney are her incredible vitality, her sharp intellect and her ability to remain curious and open-minded in the face of her vast experience and knowledge. I can only imagine the devastation wrought on those closest to her by her passing. The last time we spoke she...
