Diane Lynn Witherspoon

I worked with Diane several years ago at Southshore. Being the new kid on the block, she made me feel welcome right away. We worked the night shift in ICU, and not only was she so smart and skilled, she was so very patient and kind. She loved to talk about her family, and it was so clear that she loved them very much. I worked as a new graduate with Diane at South Shore. She was an amazing nurse and taught me so much. I am grateful I had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed.

What a beautiful soul we all lost in nurse Diane of the B wing. Her knowledge, and willingness to always listen to questions was so inspirational to me during my mother's six year stay at Beaumont Commons. While her strong leadership skills were evident to all, it was the sensitive things she did with little recognition that I will also fondly remember.
