Dianna Filkin

I appreciated the warm and generous hospitality each t time we visited from the East Her passion for living and creativity was an inspiration. I looked forward to getting Christmas cards from her and reading about her unusual "can do" activities the previous year. Dianna and Roy have been gracious hosts during our visits.

Dianna and I were friends since grade school. We spent a lot of time practicing clarinet at her house and played in school band for six years. At my grandparents resort she taught me to bake bread from scratch that was served to the customers. We sat next to each in home room for three years in high school and talked daily. We lost contact after graduation and reconnected about five years ago. We just had our 55 year class reunion and I thought about her and did not realize that she was so...

Dianna and I have been friends since 1970. I am the "mutual friend" who set up the introduction to Roy. I am shocked and oh, so sad to hear of her passing. A great spirit has left us.

Fun, Talented Artist with our Carson City art class taught by Tina Tyrrell. Dianna added a great deal to our class and she will be missed.

We will treasure forever our memories of this remarkable woman and continue to share more good times with Roy. There visit with us on Cape Cod was a memorable experience also.
