Dianne J. Bregenzer

Dianne J. (Helmbolt) Bregenzer of Cadillac formerly of Marion passed away August 19, 2010, at Brian's Hospice House, In Davison. She was 63. She was born December 18, 1946, in Cadillac, to Melvin Frederick and Lois I. (Holland) Helmboldt. She graduated from Marion High School in 1965. She graduated from Central Michigan University with her BA and her Master's degree. Dianne recently retired from Michigan Education Association. She was the Uni-serv Director. Dianne was a school teacher for over 20 years. She taught at Marion, Beaverton, and Evart schools. She attended several of the Catholic Churches in the area. She also played the organ for many years for many of the churches in the area. She loved playing music and singing. She played both organ and piano. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She is survived by her son Brian (Cathy) Booher of Cadillac, 1 granddaughter Kenna her mother Lois Helmbodt of Cadillac, Brother Ron (Cathy) Helmbodt of Casnovia, sister, Jan (Ron) Bowers of Howard City, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Mel Helmboldt. Funeral services will be at 1:00 Tuesday at the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home, Marion. Officiating will be Father Joe Fix. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Marion. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to: American Diabetes Association, Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, Humane Society.
