Not sure what to say?

Goldie and I miss you immensely my friend! I’m sure you’re up there talking baseball with Johnny. Till we meet again my friend, we love you.

Truly a sad day when we lost Dick, I especially send my condolences and much love to the Allen Family. This great human changed my life as a baseball loving 15 yr old when he came to Chicago. As noted earlier he was an unbelievable clutch hitter and something not mentioned: a great base-runner. He was an even better human being. He's with me always. Cooperstown 2026 vote!

What a great ball player. Sad that he didn't get his just reward before his passing. To Dicks family I offer my condolences for your great loss. May God protect your grieving hearts.

Richie (Dick) Allen was my childhood hero, my idol as a kid growing up in Philly PA.
There was something very different about Richie, and it took me years to find out what it was....Richie Allen knew what it was like to be different, he had the soul of a man that god made different. Nobody had the influence on me quite like Richie Allen....gonna miss him. A lot.

It doesn't matter to me either whether BB writers elect Dick to the HOF He won my vote and admiration the way he played for the ChiSox hitting baseball's where they never before traveled in the park that was previously called a pitcher's park The stands just under the old scoreboard that were 445 feet from the plate ABOVE a 15 foot wall were named Allen's Alley after Dick My condolences to his friends and family over his loss
