He was such a presence, and even though very famous he took the time when in Victoria bc to allow my young 9 year old son watch him rehearse. He then came over spoke to my son Landen and signed his guitar. My son now 26 still has it hanging proudly in his music room. God Bless you Mr. Dale

Jimmy, I have many photos of you and your dad when you very young playing drums along side your dad in Santa Cruz. You may even have a couple of them as I gave them to your dad. I’d love get these and the negatives to you if you are interested. He was a good man and treated me well

I saw Dick Dale play 3 times. He was amazing. Red Lambeth was close friends with him and he admired him deeply. DIck always stayed after he performed and visited with his fans. He always stayed grounded and never let music industry exec's tell him when and where to play. Thanks for all the memories you will always be missed.

Dick Dale, King of surf guitar and the reason that I wanted to learn the guitar. Steve Ray and yourself preformed a killer rendition of pipeline, you are both gone but the great music is still here. Thank you for the memories.

Mr. Dale was one of the most extraordinary human beings on the planet. Extremely famous and completely down to Earth. Never hesitating to make your average normal person feel like they were the star and not him. Thank you Mr. Dale for bringing your beautiful music and light to our world. You will be missed.
