My eighth grade year he talked me into taking a creative writing course it was definitely a good decision on his part and mine. My sincerest condolences to the family. May God give you strength and peace during this difficult time. (Psalm 29:11)

Dick was a great organizer. He did a fantastic job forming the Silver Eagles and preparing them for Transpo 72. He was the right man for the right time.

Dick, as the first commander of the "Silver Eagles", you were an inspiration to each of us as we worked through the goals and objectives of the fledgling team. I will never forget the first time that we took the team into the air to perform at Transpo 72. You have been in my thoughts over these many years, and each time that I thought of you I would smile and simply remember. Thanks for the memories and the example that you set for each of us.
