Diego was truly one-of-a-kind. He was a wonderful co-worker, teammate, and inspiring professional. I speak for many of us from NatCity when I say we learned so much from him. My heart goes out to Carolina, Isabela, and Camila. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Diego was a smart, energetic and enthusiastic co-worker. I will miss his great smile and his positive spirit.

My deepest sympathies to Carolina, Isabela, Camila and all of Diego's family. I first met Diego over 20 years ago as a Leveraged Finance banker in Chicago. He was truly one of the most loved and well respected bankers I have ever known; smart, honest and fun. Even when times were tough he was upbeat and positive. Lamento tanto la perdida que ha sufrido su familia. El dolor que provoca la muerte es muy fuerte, pero Dios nos ayuda a sobrellevarlo. Su palabra la Biblia nos ofrece consuelo y esperanza. I extend my most heartfelt sympathy to the entire Tobon family. Diego was always one of my favorite people from the many years we worked together at National City. He was so loved by our company that when he told us he had to leave us to move to Chicago, we started an office there to keep him. I have met few people with his combination of intellect, common sense, humility, friendliness and energy. His memory will forever live with all of us whose lives he has touched and enriched.
