They hung in our home until my mother passed and now are on my wall bringing back good memories of my mother, childhood home and the desert I spent so much time visiting. Beautiful paintings that really captured the feel of the desert as dirt roads head off into the far distance. Dillie Thomas sounds like a wonderful person all around.

To Dillie's family, and Dillie!, my condolences. I knew her in '90 to '94, from the San Diego/La Jolla art shows; she was a loving, neat, grand lady, and fantastic artist. I have only a few prints, and 2 postcards of hers, bought when I was laid off, short of $$; wish I could get more! Her art captured the feel, aura, and beauty of the desert. It takes me there, and brings back the incredible feelings I had when I was at some of those spots, Kelso, the Mojave, etc. May she rest in peace...

I will truly miss Dillie, She was special to me even if I didn't know her that long. I will miss her calling me at the bank for help with things.I will her for Ed and the girls if they need me.
