Not sure what to say?

I just came across a page about the Young Rascals, and found that Dino had recently passed away. In my Inwood NYC neighborhood, the ability to be in a band playing excellent recreations of The Rascals music, was a testament for greatness. Every local band tried to emulate the "Rascal" sound. I was privileged to have seen them at the very last show @ the original Madison Square Garden, Dec.1967, I believe that it was. Just awesome for me as they were the "legends," the best! Plus, my boyfriend...

Saw Dino on Ed Sullivan at 14 years of age, and was inspired to create a life as a drummer. At 74 years of age I am still performing in a Canadian Rock tribute band, and always credit Dino as my inspiration. Watching him on old videos brings tears to my eyes. Life regret is never having met him to tell him how much he influenced me! Rest in peace, Dino! You gave me life!!!

I saw the Rascals in a school in Brooklyn in the early sixties. I was 16 years old. I just loved Dino, and was screaming his name. I am sure he looked at me. I was also born on July 23th so we share a birthday but not the same year. I was so heartbroken when I heard he passed away. You were the best dummer on earth and I am sure you are in heaven too. RIP beautiful man

I always thought he was such a great drummer. I'm very sad to hear of his passing. I remember them well when they were on top of the charts even though I was in kindergarten. My favorite song is "it's a beautiful morning. I have requested this song & groovin' to be played at my funeral. My condolences to his surviving family.

Forever in my heart. Your memory is a blessing

It's ,been over one Year,Yet I still can think about the Great Musician He is. Saw The Rascals ,as a Young Drummer ,already knowing their Music. I could never imagine ,seeing a Drummer play and do what Dino was. Just Phenomonal. Spent some very precious time w/Him on a tour in N.Y. long awaited. Most gracious and kind guy. Really miss and loved all He was.

Saw Dino in the 60s at hi corbet field with the rascals being a drummer myself, I could tell he could play jazz as well as rock. One of the finest drummers I´d ever seen rip Dino. From Tucson,az.

Great drummer way ahead of his time. RIP
