Not sure what to say?

I remember Mr. Hampton visiting my Grandfather Almond Cooke. And visiting his farm in Prospect. Him and my Grandfather were best of friends. Fox hunting was always a good time with lunch after words at my Grandfathers house. I remember him always being so funny and kind to me and his bushy eye brows. I will always remember him and the wonderful memories of him and the family. So sorry Nanna

Nana- I just heard the news of Dinwiddie's passing and I am so very sad. He was such a special friend to my Dad, Bunny Owen, and to our whole family. He always lit up a room the moment he walked in and had such a cheery disposition. I have a very special picture of Dinwiddie, John Llewellyn, and my Dad taken at my wedding. They were the last of a dying breed. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. Fondly

Mr. Lampton will be missed by many. I will always remember the carriage & sleigh rides he gave us as kids in Cardinal Harbour, next door to "Hardscuffle" farm. He was also gracious enough to let us ride our horses on his farm. I was fortunate enough to see a portion of his carriage collection. A great equestrian and entertaining man!

I will never forget the winter sleigh rides in Cardinal Harbour. Great Man

I feel blessed knowing you through my work and may God bless you all.

He was a very special man and I learned a lot from him. Our daughter thought of him as a grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

sincere condolences to you all. i have two memories to share. one fine, crisp, fall afternoon my grandmother, martha snowden, decided she wanted to take dinwiddie a pumpkin for his birthday. we went to hardscuffle to find dinwiddie exercising his favorite team, and we were treated to rides in three of his carriages, including the adorable jaunting cart! he was in fine spirits--telling many stories about prospect and hardscuffle, as we rode down rose island road. always the raconteur! the day...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow. May God Bless and comfort you all.
Mr. Lampton was a fine gentleman, and we consider it an honor to have known him for the past 11 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Love, Edward & Brenda Stephens
