I was deeply saddened to learn of Dr. Dion´s passing. I am deeply grateful for her love and care and thoughtfulness, which enabled me to rebuild my shattered sense of self as I recovered from a very painful PTSD. I gifted her two books during the course of our long, deeply meaningful relationship that I thought captured some of that very special depth and meaning....the whimsical Le Petit Prince by de Saint-Exupéry, a testament to our joy in sharing playfulness and whimsical ideas in several...

I met Dr. Frischer 21 years ago when my daughter was an infant and I worked with her as her patient for most of those years. She really became to represent much more than that as she supported my tremendous growth and development over these decades as a person and as a parent, counseling, advising, and encouraging me especially in my hardest moments. May her family and friends know that her work not only positively impacted me but it poured into the lives of my children and my partner and...

Dion had a vibrant, alert, inquiring mind & warm, caring personality. I met her through my longtime, friend, Robert DeYoung, when they began dating. He was lucky to find her, the love of his life. It was a pleasure to be with them, as they were a wonderful, dynamic, caring team! Dion inspired me by her engenuity and stamina, in pursuing her goals (like learning French quickly!!!), and providing ongoing pursuit of health/happiness for her patients. I am very sad to see her leave us.

Both Anne (my wife) and I were sorry to learn the sad news of Dion's passing. For a number of years, Dion provided some part-time secretarial assistance to Dr. Bernard Agranoff, at the MBNI, University of Michigan. Dion was also kind enough to help me in the preparation of grants and manuscripts for submission and her assistance was invaluable. But what I remember most of that time is our long conversations about world and local events and her wonderful sense of humor. Dion was a very warm...

Dion is literally the reason I went into psychology. I was a student at U of M on a research project where we recorded the interviews and then dissected them. She told me I was very insightful and it changed everything for me. Forever grateful she noticed me. Sending my love and condolences. Such a beautiful soul.

To Marissa-your Mom always brought intelligence, good cheer, and terrific brownies to Emerson School during your student days. Do gently wrap yourself in your fondest memories of her.

I am so sad to hear of your mother's illness and passing, Marissa. We were acquainted when you and my sons were in school at Emerson, and I have helped with business over the years. I know she was so looking forward to a move to NC to be close to you and your family. My deepest condolences.
