Not sure what to say?

Tony Damiani told me just now of the passing of Don. While he certainly lived a long, full, and amazing life, the news is certainly saddening. We basically knew each other from tennis at McKinley Park since the mid-60s. I definitely always enjoyed our interactions. Don was a very interesting and nice guy who will absolutely be missed. He was one of the good ones!

Dear Perez family,

Rest...

I met Don quite a few years ago when he came to live at my apartment complex. What a wonderful and interesting man! He gave me a beautiful conch shell he got when he was in the Philippines. I will always treasure it. What a blessing to have known him.

What a great guy. It is sad that he is no longer with us. The world would be a better place if we had just a few more men like Dionisio Perez.

May you rest in peace.

I met Mr. Perez several times at the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society National Annual Reunion. The most recent was at the Reunion in Las Vegas this year. Mr. Perez was always jovial and love to dance. I have not played tennis with him , but I am sure he was great with all the trophies he received. My prayers and sympathy are with his family. Joe Calugas,Jr.
