Dionne M. (Franklin) Stevens, 32, Anderson, passed away June 28, 2006 at her residence after a sudden illness.

She was born July 16, 1973 in Muncie and lived all of her life in the Muncie and Anderson areas. She graduated in 1991 from Wes-Del High School and graduated from Indiana Business College with an Associates Degree in Medical Records. She was working as a C.N.A. at Community Hospital in Anderson.

She was a member of Eastview Church of the Nazarene. Dionne was Godmother to Bryson, Autumn, Carson and Ethan Boots. She enjoyed the companionship of her three dogs, Tubby, Samson and Saddie.

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Fred L. Stevens, Jr. of Anderson; mother and stepfather, Linda and Larry Barth of Muncie; father and stepmother, Dempsey Dean and Toni Franklin of AL; sister and brother-in-law, Deana and Kenneth Kemble; nieces and nephews, Tia Cannon, David, Laura, Kendra, Sara and Jordan Kemble, Matthew and Andrew Besser, Ryan and Adam Hayworth and William, Isiah and Grant James; stepbrother, Brian Barth; stepsisters, Kelly Hayworth and Christa James; two great nieces; two great nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred L. and Carolyn Stevens of Anderson; sister-in-law and family, Crissy and husband Larry Quinn and Garrison and Brayden Quinn, all of Anderson; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lola Simon, and Wayne and Naomi Alfrey.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Eastview Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Thomas Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.

Visitation will be 2 – 5 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

I was friends with Dionne in High School and we were in Band together. She was a very kind person and a good friend.

I worked with Dionne at Key Plastics in Hartford City. She was a very pleasant person to work with. She will be missed.

we pray that at leats she doesnt suffer to this day!
