Dear Michelle & Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of working with Dirk on the Glasford City Council and was very appreciative of the help Dirk offered me on my home. He was the kind of Man who was generous with his time and help!

Michelle & family,

Words can't express the sadness we felt when we learned of Dirk's passing. We will miss his smile and wonderful sense of humor.

Dirk, my brother Randy & I all have a fascination and love of trains; real, toys or models of all scale. I believe it's something we inherited from our fathers. I treasure the conversations with him about trains and the drives through the countryside looking at old or unusual trains we'd discover in the area. Now and forever, when I...

Dear Michelle & Family,

My condolences go to you. I am very sorry for your loss. He was the best kind of man, and will be missed.

Michelle,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Michelle and boys,

I am sorry for your loss. Know that God's love is stronger then the pain. Lean on Him for your strength in this difficult time.

Dirk will certainly be missed by many!

Dave & Jody Owen and family

Dear Michelle,

I was very sad to hear the passing of Dirk. I know how wonderful he was as a husband and father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If there is anything that you need, please let me know.

He was more than happy to offer a sawzall and even said if we needed anything else to let him know. Several years later when my wife took our oldest daughter selling GS cookies she happened to go up to Dirk's door and when noone answered they proceeded to leave. As they was pulling away from the house Dirk actually came running out to catch them. I really don't...

Dear Michelle and Sons, I had not seen Dirk since high school. Brett was in my class. I remember all of the familly as being kind, always polite and cracking jokes. It can be over 30 years since you've seen a grade school friend and you still feel a profound sadness at their passing. For the person you knew..terrible sadness for the family that he loved so much as you all loved Dirk. I am sure he was looking forward to spoiling his first grandchild. May God Bless you all during this time of...
