Dirk and I were Steffin Hill boys in the Scout troop of Mr. Harold Gillingham and lived on the same street for many years on Steffin Hill. I knew his family very well and spent many good times there during my early years at his house. Those Steffin Hill years were our "Hapy Days" years of a bye-gone era. I have been friends with his sister Florence for many years. Our family will keep Dirk and his family in our prayers.

I haven't seen Dirk very often in recent years, nevertheless I was shocked when I heard the news of his passing. He was a good friend, but more importantly he was a good person. My condolences to all of his family and friends.

My Prayers are with the Desanzo Family and to anyone who was fortunate enough to have known Dirk as I did.

To the Desanzo family. Dirk was a neighbor on Steffin Hill, Beaver Falls and we grew up in a time when life was not so fast. We played baseball on a dirt field and were allowed to be kids. Parents didn't worry about crime and drugs. I haven't seen Dirk in many years but I knew he was very successful, he will be remembered in my prayers.

Dear Frank, Chris, Tim and Family. May GOD bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I knew all of you when you were young children and truly know how much your father loved you. I knew Dirk from the time I started at Mactac in 1966 thru 1974, then Chemtrol THRU 1981 and finally Technicote until I left in the late '80's. After that. he moved and we lost touch. However I always thought of him as the "brother" I never had and I will always remember him for that. Our deepest sympathies...
