I heard of services for Dirk early morning on ch-8 news. The name sound so familiar I woke immediately to realize this was the pioneer of community media. The man I spoke with over the phone; the man who was a wealth of information and encouragement toward what will hopefully be a statewide, politically based cable access program. I just knew I always had time to accept his invitation to meet in person and tour the facility that will put him and G.R. on the community media map forever.

So sorry to hear about Dirk's death. I worked with Dirk at GRJC from 79-81. Learned a lot from him. He will be missed. I will be praying for his wife & kids.
