Not sure what to say?

My condolenses to the VanDeCarr family. Dirk and I enjoyed 30 yrs. together at AGFA. Dirk was also my first tennis partner in the AGFA league. His easy going manner and ability to recognize issues made him a valuable asset to the company. He will be missed by all.

My deepest sympathies to the VanDeCarr family. I worked with Dirk for a number of years at Agfa, for a couple of those years our offices were next to each other. He was a super person, totally professional, highly capable, self-effacing, unpretentious, and never had anything bad to say about anyone. I am sure he was a great father and husband. I was very saddened to hear he had passed away.

My deepest sympathy to the VanDeCarr family. I worked for Dirk early in my CG/Agfa career. He was a wonderful manager, mentor and a genuinely kind and honest person.
He wil be greatly missed by all his Agfa colleagues.

Terry and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies. I worked for Dirk back in the CG days when he was the Manager of Market & Product Planning. He was a wonderful boss and a down to earth nice guy. We had alot of good times, we would constantly compare notes on our children and the things they would do, he was so proud of his wife and daughters. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was Dirk's Admin Assistant when I first joined Compugraphic in 1984. We worked together for a few years and then I had the privilege to work with him again in the late 90's and until his retirement. Dirk was a quiet man, very fair and considerate to all. I too remember his references to his wife and two girls. He was proud of them.

My condolences to the Van de Carr family. He will be missed.

Sincerely,
Donna Pallaria

I worked for Dirk in the latter part of his career teaming up to form the Packaging Segment within Agfa. Many good times and laughs were shared over a DeConnick or two at the Theater Hotel in Antwerp. We enjoyed many good times together and I will miss his friendship dearly.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. My first secretarial job out of school was working for Dirk at the then Type Division of Compugrahic. He was a wonderful boss and I loved his "sense of humor". He always spoke with such pride for his wife, Terry and his two young (at that time) daughters. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
