Dr. Dirk Bartel Vandersloot M.D.

Dirk Vandersloot was not only a highly qualified and compassionate physician, he was an extraordinary human being. Dirk demonstrated by the way he lived his own life what it means to be in this world, connected to others with compassion, humility, empathy, grace, courage and that wonderful sense of humor--and sharing those gifts freely with his fellow travelers. I'll miss him and remember him always. Sending love to Dirk's family.

Dirk's family and friends, I have been one of the many privileged to have seen Dirk for over 20 years...from the time he was in Newburyport. He was a true healer. He was invaluable to me and I am devastated to learn of his passing. This was one very special man. You were all lucky to have him in your life. I will miss him terribly. My love to you all in your sadness. Know he made a huge difference in this world. Men like him do not come along every day...it is rare.

I am very sorry to hear you are gone, but I'm sure you are doing just fine wherever you are.I will always think of you as one of my spiritual teachers. Thank you so much,I'm grateful to have known you.
