I was not only Dixie’s fitness coach for over a decade but she was also a special and dear friend. I always told Dixie that she had a commanding presence when she walked into a room but she was one of the kindest and caring people that I’ve ever met. I will forever cherish the fond memories of my friend ‘Lady Dixie’.

I was extremely saddened to hear of my dear friend Dixie's passing. Dixie and I became fast friends after working together at Barbara Sue Seal properties. We got together often over the years. Dixie even introduced my son and his wife many years ago, and they are still married to this day. Dixie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. God Speed my friend. - Pat Ordway and Family

I first met Dixie at Aloha Huber grade school, 3rd grade. We became fast friends and shared wonderful adventures in Girl Scouts, and continued our friendship through all these years. We all love Dixie, she has left us with a lot of beautiful memories, and now a hole in our hearts. We were all blessed to call her FRIEND. A Hui Ho my treasured friend, till we meet again.

She made a great impression on me, and even though my family moved again, to another school district, I have always remembered her kindness. Reading about her subsequent life, I see that she always maintained her great personality and love for others. It was with great sadness that I read of her recent...

I loved Dixie and am so sad to read of her passing! She was a force, a delight and yes a matchmaker She introduced me to my former husband and we had many wonderful years together including 2 fabulous children. I will always have a special place in my heart for Dixie. My sincere condolences to Scott and his family.

Bill, Dixie and Scott were neighbors in the 1970's and the children played and were in scouts together. She helped us find a home in Lake Oswego and we were forever grateful. Is was a shock when Bill died suddenly . May she rest in peace and be reunited with Bill. The Elliott Family.
