R.I.P Aunt Dixie
I love you

Dixie was such a joy to be around, she loved life and touched many a heart with her kindness and loving ways. I am so honored to be related to her. She is one special individual.

Dixie was the Matriarch of our Christian family at John Corbly. She has persevered through many trials and tribulations, and has kept her faith and gave all who knew her an example to follow. Because of her life mine is so much better. After all the tears are shed, we will celebrate her life and what she has meant to all who knew her. God has prepared a place for her. We love you Dixie. Sleep well.

I have only know Dixie a short while as a new neighbor of a few years. She was the first to welcome us to Greensboro. We did not get to visit often, mostly across the road hellos but she always had a warm smile. So sorry for your loss and I only wish I had an opportunity to know her better.
