She is survived by her sons, Richard (Sarah) of Idaho and John (Clare) of Connecticut; one grandson, Grant Thomas of Idaho; one brother, Lewis (Ann)...

To the Prittie family -
We just learned of Dixie's passing at our first rehearsal for our Canaltown Chorale mid-winter concert season.

Dixie and I sat together in the alto section for one or two concerts, and we would talk about her travels. A couple of summers ago, a bunch of us from the Chorale went to the Carousel theater near Auburn to see Les Miserables. Dixie volunteered to be one of the drivers - and BOY, she didn't waste any time at all getting there! : )

To the Prittie Family : Both of your parents were so much a part of so many of our lives ...They were very well liked and respected....I can remember when your mom was teaching kindergarten and was just getting married!!!! We were just in kindergarten at that time.....You have many memories of your mom and dad that will sustain you when you are sad....
