It has been 17 years since Dad was taken to Heaven. While I´m delighted for him, we still miss him. Thankfully, our appreciation for all he meant to us is greater than our remorse. Dad modeled a life of service for me specifically and for all who knew him. I´m a direct product of his pouring himself into my life unselfishly. I thank God for putting me into the lives of Dixon and Bernice Hays!!

Sweetheart,
They tell me it will get easier but there's no sign of that yet. I'll join you before too much longer and then everything will be perfect. Until then, just know I miss you.
Love,
Bernice

We have many fond memories of Mr. Hays and his family. We'll always remember him in his Florida Power uniform and truck--thanks for keeping the power on for so many years in West Orange County! All our best to Phyllis, Alan and Mrs. Hays. Steve and Jacque (Dennis) Dunegan

Dad! I was always honored to call you that. I am proud to have had the privilege to be your son. I thank you for ALL you did for me as a youngster, a teenager, and a man. No other man has had a better father than you. I will miss you but I know you are so much better off now with Jesus and you are surely enjoying the reunion with so many other friends who have gone on before you. We will take care of Mother and we too will join you someday. I love you Dad, Alan
