Not sure what to say?

It´s been pointed out already but it´s important to note-Denny was indeed One of the Good Guys! And it was a blessing for us to know him. So many wonderful and unique ways to describe Denny! Including kind; inquisitive; supportive; humorous; passionate; weird & wacky!; bright; loyal; fun and funny, and insightful. But perhaps the best description was friend! To many, including us! We will miss you dear friend. Our condolences to you Kay. Patti & John Hanawalt Harrisburg, Pa

I worked with Denny at the college and will always remember his warm smile and great sense of humor. My condolences to his family.

Denny was one of the good guys. He was passionate about people, justice and doing the right thing. He loved his family, friends and the students at College of Charleston. He had the best sense of humor and could make you see the absurdity of many of life challenges. We loved calling Denny and Kay friends!

Rest in peace to a wonderfully kind man. I retired from the college of Charleston and was so touched by some kind words of encouragement written to me from Denney during my early years at the college. Prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

His sense of humor and his heart will live on forever in all of those lives that he touched. I was lucky enough to call him a friend and will always be grateful that I knew him. My thoughts are with Kay and his family.

I worked with Denny back at 88 Wentworth at the college. He was a caring, dedicated and sweet man. I am sure he will be missed by many.
