Dear Nancy, My thoughts are with you and your family at this time. Dodd was certainly one of my most favorite customers. He had such a great sense of humor and incredible zest for life and knowledge. We go way back---I loved showing him around Bellevue to encourage him to expand the business into the Seattle Area. I will truly miss him in Portland and at the Housewares show in Chicago.

Nancy - we haven't met (yet) but we are good friends of Alex and Charlie in Santa Barbara. Dodd and I were on the same entryway at Pierson College at Yale.
