Not sure what to say?

Dola was a wonder. She was very warm, classy, and welcoming. She and Gail supported one another well. I was around Dola twice: in 1980 in Shoreline and much later at Faerland Terrace. When she took her walks around the steep First Hill area, she always had a touch of class, such as a well adjusted scarf.

Seeing the obituary in the paper brought back and refreshed recollections of a chapter from long ago that impacted my life greatly. I learned to appreciate good food, good wine and many of the finer things in life all from a really classy lady. Many years have passed but sometimes these memories seem like yesterday. I learned a lot from her and her view of the world and of her niece...wow did she love you Gail. She certainly lived a long life and I am sure you will miss her greatly. God's...

Thank you, Gail for your wonderful care of Aunt Dola all these years. I always loved the times I was with her throughout my life. RIP, dear Dola. Love, Beazy

You are a hiding place for me, you will safeguard me from distress. you will surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance. Psalms 32:7

I'll miss my aunt Dola. We were not related by blood but she's been in my life for all of my life. I have memories of her as a child, as a pre_ teen, teenager and adult. She was married to my mother's brother and I adored her. We had some fun times together pretending to exercise. We'd go for a walk or do yoga and then put away a bottle of champagne. What fun we had. Love you Aunt Dola. I've been missing you for a long time.

To the family of Dola: We, Jack & Karen Weber, were Dola's neighbors for many years, directly across in #405. After Jack's death and living there six more years, I moved and we lost rack of each other. I enjoyed knowing your aunt; she was a great support for me during the passing of my mother, Vida Egbert, and my husband, Jack. I wish I had a picture to share with you when we all lived at the same condo, but my photos are packed away. With Sincere Sympathy, Karen
