Dolly David passed away in Seattle, Washington. The obituary was featured in The Seattle Times on July 8, 2009.
Mrs. Dolly David was a gem of a home economics teacher at Franklin High School in the 1980's, I was one of her student assistants back then. She ran a fun class and students loved to cook up one of her classic 1960's recipes. I'm sure she could of taught Martha Stewart a thing or two! Most of all, she had a heart of gold and a great sense of humor. She will be missed by all.

Dolly and I were both Home Economics teachers although never at the same school. However we saw each other often at meetings and classes we attended and always seemed to sit with one another. I think we were "like minded" on many issues and genuinely liked one another. She was a wonderful lady whom I admired.
My sincere condolences to her family.
