Not sure what to say?

Hey aunt carolyn! It's Ashley. There were many fun times that I had with you. Making T shirts together and you showing me how to make them was so sweet. You were always out-going and you were even willing to go on the Zipper with Sebastian, WOW! I was amazed! You are so brave and strong. You have been fighting your pain for a long time and then God said it is time to come home. You did in the most peaceful way anyone would want to leave. That is the way i want to go, too. You were always...

I shared my views at the memorial sevice, but I also thought this was an excelent venue for a more permanent memorial. I was fortunate enough to be able to play a part in Carolyn's recovery and in her role as an advocate. She had admirable strength of will and character that made a lasting impression on me. I find comfort in knowing that she knew but would feel better if only I had told her. So I am going to use this space to say a few things that I wish I would have said when she was with us. Not only was she my aunt but she was my teacher, mentor, boss (at one point in my life), counslor, another grandmother to my children, my shoulder to cry...

Dear Campbell and Archer Family:

What a loss for our community. Carolyn has been a wonderful friend to us and we sincerely will miss her wonderful smile. She always had such a positive attitude and brought sunshine to our office when she came in. We are peaceful knowing where she is now and that she is enjoying her reunion with her mom and others who have gone before her. Be blessed and put your faith in Him Who brings you comfort. Sincerely, Charlie Glaze and Staff State Farm...
