Not sure what to say?

I was a customer of the Mercantile, and very saddened to her of Delores' passing She was such a sweet person. She certainly had a tough battle. She will be missed.

Dolores - you were such a loyal friend. We had some great times in high school and shared many secrets and dreams. You were the only one to cut my hair for many years you were so talented sewing and crafting. I'm sure you made many friends later on that will also miss your caring and fun loving ways. Thanks for being my friend.

I was deeply saddened to hear about your passing but I am so glad to have been lucky enough to have met you and could call you a friend. Until we meet again..rest in peace Dolores. Love Penny

To the Family of Dolores, Our heartfelt sympathy for a truly gracious woman. My daughter and I would visit her first store in East Greenbush and then her move to Cohoes. She always greeted us with a smile and we'd talk and shop. Very friendly and caring. We also visited her shop in Troy. She will be missed, as she was while fighting Cancer... Her smile brightened a room, such a special lady. May she rest in peace and continue to light up Heaven with her smile and laugh. Our sincere...

So sorry to hear, such a lovely, kind woman, may she rest in peace

Dolores and I were high school friends. We saw each other at times throughout the years. I often visited her shop in Troy and we would catch up on old times. she told me about her bout with cancer and what she was going through. Dolores never complained to me and was always cheerful when we saw each other. Whenever leaving her shop she would blow me a kiss and say take care. You will be missed my friend.

I am Dolores's first cousin; I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I know she fought cancer for a long time and in the end was suffering. Many of us were praying for her during that difficult time. We came from a strong extended family and have many happy memories. May she now rest in peace. Philip J. DiNovo

Offering our deepest sympathies during this time.
