She was a longtime resident of Ansonia before moving to Oakview Apartments in North Haven ten years ago. Dolores was employed as a receptionist for Curtis-Ryan Honda in Shelton for many years, until her retirement. She was an avid reader who loved Danielle Steel books the most, reading well over two hundred of them. Dolores also enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends at Oakview.

Berube III (Danielle) and two great-grandchildren, Joseph L. Berube IV and Claire Berube of Oxford, two step-grandchildren, Jennifer Millea (Angelo DiLorenzo) of Derby and Danny Millea (Kate) of Woodland Hills, CA, step-great-grandchildren, Gianna, Remo and Angelo DiLorenzo, James, and Molly Millea along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Gaetano, Charles, Ernest, Anthony, Peter and John Ardito and sisters, Ann Laspino, Concetta Turro, and Louise Perrotti. The family would like to thank the staff at Connecticut Baptist Homes for providing her with such loving care.

Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Bérubé. I have many found memories of her and Mr. Berube growing up in the old Ansonia neighborhood delivering their newspapers and talks while walking my various dogs over the years. Rest in peace and my deepest sympathies to all her loved ones.
