Dolores Bowman

Dolores was born on August 4, 1927 and passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Dolores was a resident of Johnson City, Tennessee at the time of passing. Dolores was saved at age twelve and remained very active with church activities throughout her Christian life, which included singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, the Women's Missionary Union and even attended Columbia Bible College at a young age, where she worked in the office in exchange for her room and board. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 5:30 P.M., from the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, with Mr. Jack Tester, officiating. The graveside committal service will be held Sunday at 10:30 A.M., in Monte Vista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service from 4:00-5:30 P.M. in the East Parlor of the funeral home.
