SEYMOUR: Dolores "Del" Campanelli, 84, peacefully entered into eternal rest on November 30, 2015, at Rose Garden Health Care in Waterbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis M. Campanelli.
Mrs. Campanelli was born in Shelton on August 7, 1931, daughter of the late Thomas and Veronica Sheehan McGowan. A resident of Seymour for many years, she was employed as an inspector at Schick Corporation in Milford until her retirement in 1996.
She is survived by a son, David A. Gasbarri of Seymour, daughters, Laura Wabno of Derby and Theresa M. Heingartner of Seymour, a brother, Thomas McGowan of Derby, cherished grandchildren, Scott Wabno of Derby and Erica Wabno of Seymour, great grandsons, Dylan Lincoln and Ryan Wabno of Seymour and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son in law, John Heingartner Jr. and sisters, Shirley Boulet and Veronica Reed.
Visiting will take place on Thursday December 3, 2015, from 9:00-10:00 am in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:00 am, a funeral service in celebration of Dolores's life will be held with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
