Not sure what to say?

Tom and family, I am so sad to hear of Dee's passing. My sincerest condolences to all of you. I am so sorry l was unable to attend the services. My love goes out to each and every one of you.

Tom. I am sorry for your loss. I do not believe I ever met Dee, but may have at one of the Ford or clock club functions back in the day. She certainly is someone I would have enjoyed knowing having read the memories of her by your friends and family. Ed.Nickel

Tom, I am sorry to hear about your loss. She is now with the Lourd. Regards and my prayers, Girard Sensoli

Tom and Dee and I knew each other since our early days at U/M in 1958 and onward.Tom and I were like brothers since then, and Dee saw to it that behavior was beyond reproach. She subsequently assumed the role of our planner and organizer in all our family trips and vacations and did it all with great aplomb and skill. She always had a smile on her face. As one of my closest friends I shall miss her greatly. Earl Badger

So sorry to hear this sad news. I fondly remember a birding trip to CA with Tom and Dee; and it seems I'm actually part of the obit: it was I who helped Dee find her bird #700, a Purple Sandpiper in FL. Condolences to Tom.

Tom and Karen. So very sorry for you loss. BJ and Linda

Dee was such a special, delightful person whom I've known since living in Ann Arbor in the early 1960s. Our families went on many memorable camping trips together in the 1970s-80s for which Dee was the main organizer. I cherish my memories of Dee and her beautiful smile.

I was very fortunate to know Dee as a fellow teacher, a member of a unique small women´s´ group, a follower of Thich Nhat Hanh, and a friend. In each of those roles, I cannot ever remember hearing her say an unkind word or seeing her lose her equilibrium. She was a quiet but loving and compelling presence - I am just one of many who will miss her. I am sad for her family and close friends, but so glad she is at peace.
