Dolores Fullilove Cobb

Dolores Fullilove Cobb, 79, of Cleveland died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at her son’s home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie L. Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Dolores was born on September 8, 1930 to Dolores “Dolly� Brown and C. F. Fullilove. She graduated from Shelby High School in 1948. She married James Eugene Cobb, Sr. on June 13, 1948. She worked at The Famous Clothing Store for the next few years. In 1962, she started working at the Bank of Bolivar County. She retired as vice-president in December of 2000. She has been very special and dear in many lives, but more importantly, she was a devoted, loving and understanding mother and grandmother and great grandmother to us all. We know that in her earthly journey that her faith she had in God will be passed on in all of our earthly journies. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Cobb, Sr.; and her parents, Dolores “Dolly� and C. F. Fullilove. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Utz (David), Linda Mullins (James); a son, James Eugene “Gene� Cobb, Jr. (Vivian); a brother, Malcomb Fullilove (LaJeune); seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Richard Fullilove, Rod Fullilove, David Utz, Jr., Todd Utz, Chad Ellis and Kirk Ellis.
