I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Dell, my 5th grade teacher, my high school English teacher, drama director, and, later, a dear friend. She was one of the first adults in my life to encourage me to follow my heart in music and writing. Dell inspired me to learn guitar while in fifth grade. I AM HEARTBROKEN TO READ THIS. RECENTLY SHE HAS BEEN IN MY THOUGHTS AND I WOULD REMEMBER SO MANY AMAZINGLY GOOD THINGS ABOUT HER. AND HOW SHE MADE SUCH A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE.
