Dentz, Dolores A. age 78, of NE Mpls. Preceded in death by husband, Melvin Dentz; son, Kevin Dentz and brothers, Slim, George and Andrew Kisak. Survived by children, Kathleen (Darrell) Ritzema, Debbie (Gary) Soland, Donna Dentz, and Ricky Dentz; grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Hodet, Mary Jo (Patrick) Winter, D.J. (Melissa) Ritzema, Anthony Dentz, Andrew Dentz, Lucas Kraskey; great-grandchildren, Erica Potter, Hailey Miland and Wyatt Ritzema; sisters, Mary Jorgenson, Irene Snyder, Elaine Jordan and Geraldine Kapalzynski, and brothers, Donald Kisak and James Kisak. Dolores touched all who knew her with love, humor and generosity. We go forth inspired by her grace, perserverance and joyful energy for all that is possible in our lives. She loved to watch Twins, Dirty Jobs, Pittsburg Steelers, movies, Deal or No Deal and Survivor. Mom loved her three cats, Monica, Samie and Dakota. She had a bird named Pedro. Mom enjoyed her visits with Eucharist Minister Stan Sroga. The family would like to thank Father Glen Jenson and Father James DeBruycker – the laughing priest, and other clergy members from HCMC. We love our mom and grandma very much, she was our angel. Love you Mom, Dad and Kevin. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, Nov. 10, 2007 at the THOMSON-DOUGHERTY MANSION, 2535 Park Avenue. Visitation Thursday, 4-8 PM (prayer service 7 PM) and also 1 hr. prior to mass at the funeral home. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Historic Thomson-Dougherty 612-871-4407

Grandma, I will always remember your humor and wit, thank you for your shopping sprees when I came home for the summers in my youth, thank you for teaching me how to successfully garage sale shop, thank you for introducing Byerly's to me and chocolate & ice creamcake rolls, thank you for instilling in me the passion for ethnic food, thank you for introducing me to classic movies and all the drama of Diva's and thank you for bringing my Mom into the world.
