Not sure what to say?

Mali, Linda, Mary, Christa:

I wanted to let you know what a lovely service you held for your mother. Dolores was a beautiful person and that came out loud and clear.

I actually ran into her about five years ago at Kinkos. Having heard how devoted and generous she was with her time, I suspect she was making flyers for church. I don't remember what we talked about, but I do remember walking away feeling great. She did have a way of making people feel good!

My mother, Paola, worked at OSHU with Dolores for many years and considered your mother to be one of her closest friends. I, too, worked at OHSU for a short time and enjoyed getting to know Dolores and witnessing the friendship between these two strong yet gentle women.

Dolores remained a close friend after mom's retirement and her journey with Parkinson's Disease. Dorlores would call regularly and would often pick mom up for a lunch date. It meant everything to my mom.

Dolores was a deep and prayerful Christian women, quite and humble, but strong as an old oak tree. You could see it in her eyes. May all the blessings of Heaven be hers for eternity.

Delores was a wonderful neighbor and always a pleasure to talk to. She had a ready smile and a warm laugh. Her beautiful blue eyes were always warm and inviting. Our thoughts and prayer are with her family. We will miss her presence on Grace Lane very, very much. The Brenne's

As a former neighbor of Dolores, I would always enjoy seeing her at the store or at the occasional lunch with other neighbors. She once told me that she never wanted to live anywhere else but on Grace Lane and you made that possible for her. She was fortunate to have such a loving family. Everyone will miss her.

To the daughters and family of Delores.
Over the years I have known Delores as we would seem to run into each other shopping or at yoga class, etc. How we met, is that decades ago Mali and my daughter, Tamae, attended Mrs. Clohessy's Montesori School together. We car pooled. Then it was Linda and Kyoko and on down the line if I remember correctly. I also have four daughters. Each time we ran into each other, there was lots to catch up on about our daughters. I always liked hearing...

I remember Delores as a very kind person who listened carefully to people - peers and clients alike. And she had a wonderful laugh. Laura Borders

I will miss Delores. She was a good friend for more than 40 years. We shared love, laughter and a friendship that was very special. We never losst touch over the years as our lives changed.....she will leave a void in my life! Sally Phillips
