Dolores Gilliam

I knew Dolores in high school, in orchestra. We shared concerts, All State, and a true love of playing violin. She taught me to play assertively and wear Heaven Scent cologne. While I no longer daube Heaven Scent, I remember it well, and do often tell my students to play their violins the way Dolores played hers. No doubt she was a fine teacher, and I regret never having had the opportunity to reminisce those days with her. JL
