Dawn, I am sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I am smiling thinking of my memories of both you and your Mom. I worked with Dolores at Smith-Bridgman's in Flint about 1963, and with Dawn at Kettering in about 2000. What a wonderful family!

Dawn, I am so sorry to hear of your mom´s passing. I was also in the 5 year coop program through Flint U of M and taught first at Homedale then at Cook before going to the Kearsley District. I remember your mom and you. I had you in class, either first or third grade, so many years ago. She was always a productive go getter, and you were bright and sweet. I am so sorry read of Delores passing. Delores was my pre-service mentor at Doyle-Ryder. I learned a lot from her. I was surprised to read about The Learning Box and Grandmas Button Box- those were toys I bought for our daughter and used again with our grandsons. Thanks to her guidance I had a wonderful career in education. May your memories provide you comfort as you find your new normal without her.
