Visiting the neighbors, Spring 2005

Harold,
One of our favorite stories to tell is about when you were sitting in a lawn chair out on the front lawn on Brainerd Ave kibitzing with my husband who was up on the scaffolding when Delores came out in her housedress to ask my husband if he needed the pellet gun to shoot the pest! You were the best neighbors! We have spoken many times about how fun it was to watch the two of you together—the heckling, the affection, and the laughter! We are very, very sorry for your loss. Dear Harold and family:
We are so so sorry that we lost Dolores. We feel bad that we will not be there for you at this very sad time, being in Indian Shores, Florida.
Donna taught Dolores her job when she came to us at the St Paul Pioneer Press. She was the BEST! Nothing got by her. You and Dolores became some of our dear friends; taking our once a year jaunt out of town; meeting for lunch once a month and partying a bit! We will miss her so much. Barb, I remember your mother as a kind, gentle and caring mother. My prayers are with you and your family. I lost my mom in 2012...it hurts but the wonderful memories keep her close. You will always have the memories and know that she loved you all so much.

Harold & family, My thoughts & prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I'm so sorry I could not be there at the end. I was so honored to have known Dolores & all of you as well. She was a beautiful, kind & gracious lady & it was a pleasure to help care for her. You are all such wonderful people & such a loving, caring family. I will miss seeing Dolores & visiting with you all as well. She will always be alive in our memories. God Bless!

Harold and family, we are saddened to hear of your loss. However, we know that smiling face is now in Heaven and no more pain and suffering for her. We had the pleasure of spending many pleasant winter months with you two in Orange Beach, AL. Dolores will always be remembered with that beautiful smile of hers.
Sincere sympathy to all the Lang Family.
