Dolores McGregor McGowan

Seven years since Dolores died and now three and a half years since my husband died. I still live in the neighborhood where Dolores lived and pass by her former house often. I am glad to be reminded of her today. She was a very good friend despite our age difference. Too many good friends and my own husband gone. I will pray for all their souls.

We were neighbors of Dolores McGowan in Northbrook for many years. We also were fellow parishioners. I played tennis with Dolores many years ago. We also worked together on projects for Our Lady of the Brook parish. I last saw Dolores in her role of volunteer at Glenbrook Hospital after she moved to Lincolnshire. She was a wonderful person and we missed her presence at OLB and on Galway Ct. We're sending a contribution to Little Mexico in her memory. May she rest in peace.
