My mom kept in touch with Dolores for years. Just recently I was saddened to hear of Roberta's passing at age 49...I remember the fun we had as girls and Dolores was wonderful to me. My Mother, Lee, has been friends with Dolores since 1989. They met when they lived in the same apartment building. My Mom moved in 1994, and ever since then, Dolores and my Mom kept in touch by telephone and by writing cards and letters and exchanging pictures and gifts, never missing a beat. My Mom used to drive Dolores places back when they lived in the same apartment building, and Dolores was always so very appreciative of this. Dolores never forgot my Mom . . . always keeping in touch...
