Dee was a dear friend to my mom and dad, Jim and Marilyn Kurtz, who worked with her at the UAW. That's how I met her. She was a fun and special lady. I was thinking about her last Friday because that was exactly a year after we lost my mom. It was so thoughtful and wonderful of Dee to have come to Mom's service. It meant a lot to us. And that's just the kind of person she was. Dee was loved and will be greatly missed by many.
