Dolores Ann Rose

Dolores Ann Rose (nee Himmelreich) 86, of East Rutherford, New Jersey passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on October 28, 2023.  Born in Bayonne, New Jersey, Dolores completed cosmetology school in Jersey City and soon after married the love of her life. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Patsy Rose. Dolores and Patsy resided in Rutherford for 35 years where they raised their seven children. She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Janet Himmelreich, brother James Himmelreich, sister Elaine Smith, and grandchildren Tony, Bobby and Christina. Devoted mother of George Rose (Carol), James Rose (Debbie), Mark Rose (Joseph), Michael Rose, Robert Rose (Joan), Nancy Banca (Thomas) and Kim Koziol (Henry). Loving Nana to Brian, Jamie, Elyse, Alyssa, Casey, Faith, Matthew, Zoe, Carlie, Ava and Leah.  Proud great grandmother of Gabriel, Connor, Emily, Gracie, Michayla, Jaxson, Kenzie, Tyler and Capri.

Dolores was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary R.C. Church in Rutherford. She loved reading, playing cards, chatting over tea or coffee, and will fondly be remembered for her birthday cakes, egg sandwiches, potato salad and macaroni and cheese. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral on Thursday November 2,2023 at 9AM from the Macagna Diffily Onorato Funeral Home 41 Ames Ave Rutherford, NJ. Funeral Mass 10AM at St. Mary RC Church, Rutherford, NJ. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ. Family & Friends will be received Wednesday November 1, 2023 from4-8PM.
