Ray, Rob and Tom,
I am sorry to hear about your Mom. Having gone through this with my Mom a few years back, my advice to you is to remember all the good times. Every time you feel sad, think of something your Mom did that made you smile or laugh. This will help to ease your pain. Please give my condolences to your Dad.
