Art and Family - We were saddened to think that Dolores would not be at sorority functions anymore. She was the epitomy of what Beta Sigma Phi means to me, friendship. She enjoyed her responsibilities for our 2006 State Convention and even took care of the flowers. I will miss her smile, her laughter, and her beautiful face which made her look much younger than her actual age! (Envy!) My prayers are with you in the days to come.

Dear Shumaker Family,
I was so sad to hear about Delores. She was a wonderful memory of my childhood, I loved seeing her at the San Pedro festivals. I would look for her in the store whenever I went shopping. I loved her smile and personality, she was always a bundle of energy and joy, always beautiful inside and out. My heart goes out to your family.

The loss of the life of Dolores Shumaker will be a great one. The world will be more difficult without the great works of Dolores. She always acted as though she knew you forever.
