Not sure what to say?

Dolores helped me and my husband Jim buy our first home. I had known Dolores from high school and was delighted to find that we lived down the street from each other. We were transferred out of Texas and lost contact with each other, but I always thought of her fondly.

Merri Nell your mom was so warm and kind to me during the play we did together. She brought me flowers from her. It was so unexpected. she always had encouraging words and was interesting to talk to as we were not to far apart in age. I was blessed to know her and I am so sorry for you and your family's loss.

Oh Mike, we are deeply sorry for your loss of precious Dolores!!! We loved her SO much!! You remain in our thoughts and prayers! John would love to talk to you, but we can´t find your phone number and address! John´s phone number is: 214-546-1925 and mine is 214-793-6342. Please give us a call when you can!! John and I love you both and will keep you and the kids in my prayers!

I only met Dolores on a few occasions, although we live in the same neighborhood Dolores was a lady that I would have loved to know better. She was always kind and generous of spirit and beautiful. Bill and I are saddened to hear of her passing and extend our deep condolences and prayers for peace and comfort to the family.

It has been way too long since seeing Dolores. She was always such a special part of my life growing up and miss our family Get Togethers. I still to this day cook from the cookbook she gave me when I graduated from high school in 1981. "The Texas Experience" from the Richardson Woman's Club has always been my go to for quiche and other favorite recipes and she comes back to my mind every time I pull it from the cabinet. Funny thing is I have been watching the show "Reba" lately and that...

In High School Dolores generously taught me and several others to twirl so that we could try out for Leopardettes. As adults we lived near each other in Richardson and played bridge regularly. Dolores found our first home for us and was a true friend. Sadly, we lost track of each other when I moved away. But I remember her generous spirt. She was beautiful inside and out and will be missed.

Dolores was always a kind, supportive, cherished friend from the moment we met, in the sixth grade at Trinity Heights. For decades living in California, I loved receiving her beautiful Christmas cards and watching her family grow! If I can figure out how to include a photo, it was taken several decades ago at a high school Western-style reunion. Magnificent friend, she´ll be missed greatly. R.I. P., dear Dodie. Delores and Mike were our "pew buddies for 40 plus years. I called them Mr. and Mrs. Dapper. They dressed in coat, tie, and beautiful dresses, almost a poster for the beautiful couple ever!

Mike and Family- Sincere condolences on Dolores' passing. She was always the brightest light of any Event and a great leader. May God Bless Dolores, you and the Family.
