I am so glad that you and I had such great times in Washington Minneapolis Boston and Suffield with the two Joes and John Finnegan. I miss our telephone chats already but I have great pictures of us at Mclean Gardens in 1943 and 2003 and wonderful memories of every thing in between.I know that you and Joe have looked up my Joe and are having lots of laughs about our various escapades. Dowd you were the best.Love Peggy

Dowd was solid gold and she will be missed always. I am so grateful that Peg, Kate, Dana, Dowd and I had such a wonderful and memorable weekend together in Washington, DC in the spring of 2003. I was very proud to have Dowd as my godmother.

A profoundly wonderful woman who touched many lives in the most positive of ways and whose loss makes this world much poorer for her absence.

Dowd was a lovely lady and will be missed very much. She always had a smile on her face and was willing to help anyone.
