The family wishes to thank the V.A. in Milwaukee and especially the V.A. of Iron Mountain, Michigan for taking such wonderful care of their dad. He would have been nineteen years cancer free in March thanks to them. They are a wonderful group of doctors and nurses. The family would also like to thank the hospice nurses and social workers for all their expertise and kindness to our dad and to the family.

Not sure what to say?

Grandpa, thank you for all your love, support and encouragement. Even during my difficult times you were always there, calmly talking me through it. Sharing your Old Style with me while watching the Cubs (even if I was barely old enough to walk) to parties in the basement listening to 8 tracks, I even ate pickled pigs feet!! Imagine!! Daddy daughter dances to walking me down the aisle, you were the only father I ever knew and I'm grateful for that, you taught me so much. I was never prepared...
