I was very sad today to hear of Lou's passing. He was a great guy. Kind and brilliant. I met him more than 50 years ago when he interviewed me for a job at Bell Labs in Whippany. His comments about working there were informative, interesting and quite humorous. His was the only interview I remember from that time and whenever we met later with other friends, I would thank him again for what he did for me and many others through the years.
